Louis Vuitton Art Show = Ad Show ?

On June 27, some native artists of Hong Kong assembled in front of Hong Kong Museum of Arts protesting luxury brand Louis Vuitton's  " Louis Vuitton: a passion for creation " art exhibition. These artists interrogated this exhibition whether it is an art exhibition or an advertising exhibition.  Their boards write " Art Show =Ad Show? " and " Art Museum: Passion for MONEY? ". There were not only works of Jean-MichaelBasquiat and Guangdong woman artist CaoFei, but also the growth course of LV and a lot of material objects of Louis Vuitton in this show. Hong Kong Ministry of travelling Culture pay 6 million Hongkong dollars for this exhibition. And this act make artist and citizen of Hongkong disgruntled. " South China Morning Post " have reported this piece of news. Actually, a lot of luxury brands have supported the art exhibitions held in China in recent years. And there are also a lot of domestic famous artists design for these brands or accept the brands’ invitation to help with their propagating.
